How To Succeed in
Advanced Technology Systems

  1. Read and follow all directions carefully and thoughtfully.
  2. Be present, be punctual, be on task, and be courteous and respectful every day.
  3. Present, punctual, and on task means working in your assigned workplace from late bell to dismissal.
  4. On task means doing what you're supposed to be doing when you're supposed to be dong it
  5. Courteous and respectful means attentive, intellectually active, and involved with the task at hand.
  6. No food, drink, or unauthorized electronic devices are allowed.
  7. Use computers only when and as directed by the teacher and always according to the AUP.
  8. Your notebook needs three sections:
    1. Notes - take good notes at every opportunity; they are your textbook
    2. Classwork / Homework - includes Learning Log Work to be turned in - on time, of course
    3. Returned Papers
  9. Use a Proper Paper Heading on all work turned in:
  10. Use blue or black ink on clean-edged 8½ x 11 white paper (no torn edges).
  11. Keep work areas clean. Take to workstations only what you need for immediate use. Leave nothing at computer workstations.
  12. Make no changes of any kind to any computer system in the classroom without explicit direction to do so.
  13. Put your name on all your disks and always have your disks and notebook with you.
